Manicure

Manicure is the fundamental building block for all nail services.​ Master the industries core skills, and learn how to carry out a both a basic Manicure and a luxury Spa Manicure.

Training consists of 2 full training days plus practical assessment.  Cost £

​

During your tutor led practical training days will will be taught:

• how to set up the working area

• how to carry out a client consultation

• how to perform cuticle care

• how to shape the natural nail

• how to apply a Classic Red Polish finish

• how to apply a French Polish finish 

• how to complete a hand and lower arm massage

• how to use exfoliator, mask and lotion to provide a luxury spa treatment

We will also recap the theory learnt in the self study manual to include: laws and regulations, skin and nail conditions, contraindications and contra-actions, infection prevention and control measures, professional standards, consultation processes, and health and safety, ​

The course consists of:

• a self study theory manual to be read prior to your practical training days

• online web form to answer theory questions ahead of your practical training days

• two tutor led practical training days where you will learn the practical skills required to carry out the treatment

• two case studies to be completed in your own time between training days

• practical assessment (the practical assessment is booked for day 3 of the course)
